Want a brighter, whiter smile in a matter of minutes?  True White Whitening System On-The-Go provides a quick, convenient way to brighten your smile in a matter of minutes.  The pen uses an undisclosed concentration of hydrogen peroxide gel, which is effective and safe, to provide instant results.  There is a brush tip applicator that makes application simple and precise.  Many bleaching agents cause temporary tooth sensitivity, but the True White Whitening System On-The-Go pen contains potassium nitrate to help ward off sensitivity.  Consumers can expect results in as little as 5 minutes!  The pen would make a great addition to the True White Whitening System at-home bleaching kit. Bleaching gel pens are convenient to keep in your purse or desk for quick touch ups. They are not messy and easy to travel with. The pen contains enough gel for 20 applications.  Retail price on the company website is $65.

Advantages:

  • Safe and effective
  • Fast results in as little as 5 minutes
  • Contains Potassium Nitrate to help avoid sensitivity
  • Easy to apply
  • Convenient

Disadvantages:

  • Price is high for a gel pen

Verdict:

The True White Whitening System On-The-Go pen provides fast results, within 5 minutes of application, which is impressive.  In general, bleaching gel pens are easy to tote around just about anywhere.  Results are fast, application is simple, and the gel is safe and effective.  The added bonus in the True White Whitening System products is the addition of potassium nitrate, which is the active ingredient in sensitivity toothpastes.  Overall the pen is a bit pricey but for such effective results many consumers will find it worth every dollar.

Most whitening pens should include an instruction manual with the packet. Always be sure to follow directions exactly for best results. Typically most whitening pens should be used on dry teeth, applying the product evenly over the teeth while keeping the lips retracted (smiling) until the product is allowed to dry (about 30 seconds) and then wait at least 20 minutes before eating or drinking anything.
