Teeth Whitening Mouthwashes and Rinses

Teeth Whitening rinses can be effective in supplementing the at-home over-the-counter tooth whitening process. Typically, these mouth rinses aim to freshen breath and maintain a bright smile between whitening treatments. The best time to rinse with whitening mouthwashes is after daily brushing and flossing routines and in conjunction with a tooth whitening process or maintenance. Some whitening mouthwashes contain fluoride, which helps to fight tooth sensitivity and decay. Other whitening mouth rinses aim to help brighten the teeth by containing a less concentrated hydrogen peroxide solution, making it safer to use on a daily basis. Some of these mouthwashes also contain anti-bacterial agents which help to fight gingivitis (gum disease). The tooth whitening mouthwash is a compliment to the tooth whitening process, when it is a part of the daily oral hygiene routine.
